Curious City Science Festival, 23 – 28 June, Cork

A series of city-wide events in Cork in association with Dublin City of Science to inspire creativity, spark innovation and seek answers to Life’s Great Questions. The events will take place at the Lifetime Lab, CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory, College of Science, Engineering & Food Science, UCC, Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Triskel Christchurch with other events such across the city such as a Popup Cinema, Science Raps with APC & Stevie G and Spontaneous Secret Science,

Lifetime Lab will host its first ever science picnic on Saturday 23 June and admission is free. Throughout the day visitors may become environmental detectives investigating their interactive exhibits, discover the engineering trail around the old Victorian waterworks, participate in hands on science experiments at the learning zone, join in their science magic show, solve Mathsworks puzzles and build during the KNEX construction challenge. At their creation station we will have face painting and make and do and lots more activities are planned before you unwind in our playground & relax in our garden.
