Tramore Valley Park, Fun Day, 25 August 2012

The former Kinsale Road Landfill will host a day of family fun activities as Cork City Council unveils the master plan for Tramore Valley Park on Saturday 25th August.

          A family sports day, birds of prey, bouncing castles, face painting, balloon making and zorbing are some of the activities organized throughout the day. A picnic area with food stalls, electric vehicles and rally cars are also planned to encourage visitors to view the master plan for the area and discuss the various elements with representatives of Cork City Council.Tramore Valley Park Family Fun Day takes place on Saturday August 25th from 11.00-16.00 at former Kinsale Road Landfill site.For further information, please contact Cork City Council at 4924187, 4924731, 4924333, 4924729.

Other events include zorbing (fundraising event),bouncy castles, face painting,food stalls, Cork City Fire Brigade display, Kieran McCarthy-local history talk (fundraising event) (11:00 to 1:00), Jim Wilson-wildlife talk(2:00 to 3:30), guided open top bus tours (1:00 to 3:00), falconry display, electric cars & electric bicycles, rally cars, petting farm and introductory orienteering.
