Cork Film Festival have teamed up with Cork City Council and Events at Fitzgerald’s Park to bring you Films At Fitzy’s – the first of its kind in Cork which takes place on the lawn pavilion of the iconic Fitzgerald’s Park on the August bank holiday weekend, during the short-lived but warm and wonderful nights of summer. Open-air cinemas are a quintessential outdoor event, with feature films lighting up the screen from dusk. Cinema-goers are encouraged to dust off their picnic blankets, foldable chairs and bean bags to come enjoy some of their favourite films under the stars.
